Egyptian Presidential Candidate :
I Hate America and Britain So Much that
I Refused Their Passports

Muhammad Al-Nishai

Sign of hypocrites. Two different hadiths:
* Narrated Abu Huraira :
TheProphet said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three:
1 - Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
2 - Whenever he promises, he always breaks it
3 - If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest.
(Sahih Bukhari 1.32)
* Narrated 'Abdullah bin Amr' :
The Prophet said, "Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up.
1 - Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.
2 - Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
3 - Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.
4 - Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner.
(Sahih Bukhari 1.33)

Fjordman Files

Fjordman Files

Fjordman is a Scandinavian blogger who used to have his own (rather successful and highly interesting) blog, but gave it up for an existence as ‘roving blogger extra-ordinaire’, writing long, thorough and highly readable pieces with as a central theme (if one can tag it like that): The Crisis in the West. He divides his blogging time nowadays between Jihad Watch, Gates of Vienna, Atlas Shrugs and Brussels Journal.

This page is set up as a modest attempt to pull the different Fjordman pieces together and provide a directory or Table of Contents or some such. The links above will direct you to the blog and page the relevant file was published. I made a wholly unsatisfactory attempt to categorize Fjordmans article according to the main subject of each. Within category the articles are ordered chronologically with the most recent on top. Note that in some cases a piece is categorized under multiple headings, since they may be touching on several topics in one.

Zimbabwean man claims prostitute turned to donkey

A Zimbabwean man has told a court that he hired a prostitute who during the night transformed into a donkey, and that he is now "seriously in love" with the animal, state media said Wednesday.
"I think I am also a donkey. I do not know what happened when I left the bar, but I am seriously in love with (the) donkey," Sunday Moyo told the court, according to The Herald newspaper.
Moyo, 28, was arrested in the town of Zvishavane, about 300 kilometres (185 miles) south of the capital Harare on Sunday.
He said he had paid $25 for a prostitute, and was surprised Sunday morning when he heard people accusing him of having sex with a donkey.
Moyo has been charged with bestiality. The court has ordered him to undergo a mental examination, The Herald said.

That didn’t take long

Freedom to submit to religious oppression --
the western achievement in Libya

Well that didn’t take long, did it?

From the moment the British, French and Americans went to war in Libya to depose Col Gaddafy in order to ‘liberate’ the Libyans from a tyrannical and oppressive regime, I warned that Messrs Cameron, Sarkozy and Obama were all too likely to bring to power something that would be even worse – an Islamist regime that would not only even more oppressively enslave the Libyans but would also be hostile to the west. After the killing of Gaddafy, President Barack Obama rushed to congratulate Libya.

‘After four decades of brutal dictatorship and eight months of deadly conflict, the Libyan people can now celebrate their freedom and the beginning of a new era of promise,’ he said.

Is that so.

Yesterday the leader of Libya’s transitional government, Mustafa Abdul-Jalil – who has reportedly so impressed western leaders by his, er, statesmanship, declared his country’s liberation -- and in the next breath declared the imposition of sharia law. The Daily Telegraph reported this morning:

‘Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council and de fact president, had already declared that Libyan laws in future would have Sharia, the Islamic code, as its “basic source”. ‘But that formulation can be interpreted in many ways - it was also the basis of Egypt's largely secular constitution under President Hosni Mubarak, and remains so after his fall. ‘Mr Abdul-Jalil went further, specifically liftingimmediately, by decree, one law from Col. Gaddafi’s era that he said was in conflict with Sharia - that banning polygamy.‘In a blow to those who hoped to see Libya's economy integrate further into the western world, he announced that in future bank regulations would ban the charging of interest, in line with Sharia. “Interest creates disease and hatred among people,” he said.

... Mr Abdul-Jalil’s decision - made in advance of the introduction of any democratic process - will please the Islamists who have played a strong role in opposition to Col Gaddafi’s rule and in the uprising but worry the many young liberal Libyans who, while usually observant Muslims, take their political cues from the West.’

Well, just fancy that.

The gruesome way in which Gaddafy appears to have been killed by a rebel lynch-mob, and the discovery that dozens of Gaddafy loyalists appear to have been massacred, suggest that
human rights are not exactly going to be a hallmark of the brave new Libyan dawn.
In the light of all this, the comments by British and American politicians who have now bestowed upon the Libyan people the freedom to submit to the cruelties of sharia, leave one unsure whether to laugh or cry.The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered the following pricelessly preposterous piety:

“I think that the new Libya needs to start with accountability, the rule of law, a sense of unity and reconciliation in order to build an inclusive democracy.”

Don’t you just love it – an ‘inclusive democracy’ under sharia, which recognises no secular rule whatsoever and flogs, stones or kills those who do not consent to submit!
The British government was scarcely any less ludicrous. Andrew Mitchell, the International Development Secretary said of the killing of Gaddafy:

“It was clearly a very confusing moment and I would have preferred that he had faced justice either in a Libyan court or in the International Criminal Court in the Hague, but it is difficult for us in Britain to put ourselves into the position of the soldiers and those who were involved in the capture of Gaddafi...”

Yes, difficult indeed to put ourselves in the position of a bloodthirsty lynch-mob. When is the Foreign Secretary William Hague going to condemn these killings as ‘disproportionate’, I wonder? And the new Defence Secretary Philip Hammond pursed his lips and wagged his
finger reprovingly.

“It’s certainly not the way we do things, it’s not the way we would have liked it to have happened,” he said. “The fledgling Libyan government will understand that its reputation in the international community is a little bit stained by what happened.”

I’m sure the Libyan Islamists will be mortified. Alas, Mr Hammond – it is the government of which you are a member which will be more than a little bit stained by what is likely to be a fanatically oppressive and anti-western Libyan regime – and which the UK has helped bring into being.

No Turks in Iraq?

No Turkish forces have entered north Iraq, border guards and Kurdish rebels say, a day after Turkish security sources said troops, tanks and military vehicles had crossed the frontier.
There has been no Turkish incursion by soldiers or Turkish forces onto Iraqi soil, said Colonel Hussein Tamer, head of the border guards for Dohuk province in north Iraq along the border with Turkey.
"Turkish forces have not entered Kurdistan's soil," added Ahmed Denis, spokesman for the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) rebel group, which maintains bases in Iraq's northern autonomous Kurdish region and is the target of Turkish forces.
Turkish security sources said on Monday that some 20 tanks and 30 military trucks had entered Iraqi soil from Siyahkaya village, and Turkish warplanes bombed the Haftanin region.
They added that Turkish troops were sent by helicopter to Zab, and were aiming to enter Sinaht, which is close to Haftanin.
The Turkish military launched air and land operations against the PKK after the separatist group's guerrillas killed 24 soldiers and wounded 18 along the Iraqi border on Wednesday, the army's biggest losses since 1993.

No Turks in Iraq? Then, what is this?!

Who is the M/F on the right?

Liberals, Islamists Struggle Over
the Future of Tunisian Society

On October 7, 2011, the private Tunisian satellite TV channel Nessma aired the award-winning French animated film Persepolis, which is based on Iranian-born illustrator Marjane Satrapi's autobiographical graphic novel and tells of the challenges she faced growing up in Iran during the 1979 revolution. The airing of the film, which was dubbed into Tunisian Arabic, was followed by a 90-minute  debate on religious fundamentalism that focused on the similarity between the situation in Iran in 1979 and what might happen in Tunisia if an Islamist party won the Tunisian Constituent Assembly election set for October 23, 2011.  READ MORE >>

Because we can!

Though, in a subsequent BBC interview, Amin denied knowing that the interview had been coerced, photo evidence shows that standing behind Shalit’s chair as he answered Amin's questions was a man in fatigues, wearing a black face mask and the green headband of the Qassam brigades – Hamas’s military wing – holding a video camera in his hand and No.2 in the Hamas:Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook. Amin claimed that "It's true that he was brought in by armed Hamas men, but in the room itself there were only Egyptian intelligence people. They didn't intervene, and neither did the Hamas men."

Colonel Gaddafi was killed today —
after being captured clutching a golden gun.

The Mad Dog dictator was paraded through the streets in Libya beaten and bloodied after being found cowering in a hole.
He was hunted down as he attempted to flee his hometown of Sirte in a convoy of 80 jeeps.
A Nato airstrike on the vehicles left them badly damaged, but not destroyed, and an injured Gaddafi managed to crawl away to hide inside a storm drain.
The attack allowed the rebel forces on the ground to close in on him.
Fighter Mohammed al-Bibi said he discovered the tyrant hiding in the large concrete pipe brandishing the golden pistol.

Yes! We can! And will do more!

What a rotten culture!

After five long years in captivity, Israeli POW Gilad Shalit has finally been released. Gilad served in the same Company I did (Company Bet, 71st Battalion of the 188th Armored Brigade), six years after I left the IDF. Words cannot express how overjoyed I and my platoon mates are that Gilad has finally come home. Read more about Gilad and the Shalit family   here.
